INPATH-TES is a network of institutions that aims at implementing a joint PhD programme on Thermal Energy Storage technologies. Currently, this is not possible because of some barriers related to differences in the regulations in the different participating countries. To overcome this problem, an alternative approach based on joint supervision of PhD students, also known as co-tutelles, was adopted.
Interested applicants for enrolling in a PhD through a co-tutelle between two of the INPATH-TES participating universities are recommended to contact both universities and express their interest in advance. The network does NOT grant scholarships for PhD students enrolled in co-tutelles, although other funding possibilities may be available. Please see below for a list of participating universities.
The PhD candidates willing to achieve the recognition of INPATH-TES label must fulfil the following requirements:
The student will have to take at least 20 ECTS from lessons within the INPATH-TES programme.
The student has to carry out an internship or secondment to a third partner from the INPATH-TES network for at least 2 months.
The student should publish at least 1 scientific journal paper with co-authors from 3 institutions from INPATH-TES network.
The student should attend at least 1 INPATH-TES workshop/training school.
The founding of this network was supported by the European Commission between 2015 and 2018 through the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement number 657466.
The European Commission is not responsible for the data published here.
