Lesson: Error analysis of measurements and in simulations

Detail:Error analysis is an essential element of any investigation of data, to determine its relevance and to establish a confidence in the results. Errors occur in all aspects of data collection due to interpretation, equipment accuracy and the human error. Also when manipulating data errors can be transferred through equations which may amplify them. Understanding these processes can avoid embarrassment for the researcher when publishing their results.
